Shungite
rolled shungite
raw shungite
Origin: Russia
chakras: root chakra
Properties : Shungite is a "coal" type mineral that contains between 50 and 70% organic carbon. So it's not pure carbon.
Unlike ground charcoal which is the result of the transformation of organic plant matter, Shungite originates from very old planktonic deposits (more than 2 billion years). The only deposits are in the northwest of Russia, near Lake Onega Shunga (hence its name) .
What makes this stone unique is that Black Shungite is mostly made up of naturally occurring fullerenes. A new form of the existence of carbon, discovered by three American scientists in the laboratory in 1985.
Shungite is a stone that develops around it a powerful shield against harmful electromagnetic waves : wifi, mobile phones, tablets, computers, microwaves, tv… Moreover, it is not by chance, if the Russian military has been using it for years to protect their bunkers against outside electromagnetic attacks. In France also we use shingite, large blocks have been placed in the wind turbines, in order to eliminate the electromagnetic interference they produce.
Of course, as a black stone, it also protects and absorbs all the negative energies around us.
Like its cousins ( Obsidian , Tourmaline , etc.), Shungite is an anchor stone, so it facilitates introspection and rooting. It also energizes the body and mind, activates the immune system and supports during periods of great fatigue : change of season…
Purification : Useless, however if you feel the need, purify them with pure water
Reload: Sun (Preference: full day) , Rock crystal cluster
Good to know : No, this stone is not radioactive!
A pyramid, a cube, a sphere or a large block of black Shungite in your house will harmonize the place and neutralize the impact of bad vibes on our body.
